curious incident of the dog in the nightime 3

i liked the ending of this book because Chris ended up living with his mom and his dad lived right down the road so he could see him whenever he wanted to.it surprised me when his dad bought him a new golden retriever to try and win him over. i thought since his dad killed Wellington that he would buy Mrs. Shears a new dog, even though he hated the Shears'. the most important scene is when his dad tells him that he killed wellington and that his mom wasnt dead.
