I think that they made the right decison not to jump and to wait 90 days. All of thier lives ended up better becasue they did go to the roof that night and met each other, and the friendship saved their lives. If they did jump then they never would have gotten to learn thing about themselves and their families, for example Jess finding Jen. Becasue they all shared the want/"need" to kill themselves that new years eve they all came out of the dark place they were in and made new life long friends and ended up with new, more successful jobs. I think that the ending could have been better, however it was still a good book.
