In the Red Phase when Ryan talks about how no one realized how important what was happening was, it reminds me of that day for me when we were in school. I remember being young and not understanding what was happening until my mom told me. Even then i didn't realize I was living in one of the most infamous days in U.S. history. He was old enough to grasp it quickly but kids my age didn't really get it until we were older and realized it.
