Paper Towns 2

I was surprised that Quentin uses what he thinks will be his last thought prior to hitting the cow on blaming Margo for him being in this situation. To me it seemed that all along, all he wanted to do was find her and be with her. But when that fear of death strikes he turns out to be mad at her for putting him in the situation that he believes would end his life. That sort of strong fear changes his thoughts incredibly quickly. This is a good example of the sudden effects of fear when one's life is threatened.
