Hole in My Life 3

From the way Jack's father talked to him about how upset he was about the smuggling, one would think that he would abhor any type of crime, and gave readers as well as Jack the same impression. However, once Jack found out about how his father wrecked his car for the money, it made him think that his father was a very hypocritical person. This made me not like Jack's father as much as I did, and personally I think he made a poor example for his child. If he wants his son to stay away from crime, and then commits one himself, he should deserve to feel as bad as Jack did when he was scolded, and Jack as well as his father should need to earn the trust back from their family, not just the person that got caught and put in jail.
