The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time 1

I think that the way the book is portrayed is very interesting, from the point of view of an autistic boy. He sees and thinks about things much differently than the average person. I can relate to Christopher because I have a family member who is autistic, and my mom works with them. You can really see when you're around them a lot how they're minds work differently than others, and yet that they are very smart people. This shows in the book because Christpher is great at math and unlike the average person, he uses this skill to calm himself down.
