The Girl Who Fell From The Sky 3

I was shocked to read in the end that Rachel's mother is the one that actually pushed her children off of the building. Throughout the story it made it seem as though she was very protective of them and wouldn't let anything bad happen to them, but apparently in her point of view dying is the best way to keep all of them safe from the various dangers of life. I also think it was odd for Rachel to only admit to herself that her mother did it, in the end. She was either in denial the whole time, or trying to push the memory of that event from her mind.
