A long way down- 1

I think it's sad how Maureen thinks she has to commit suicide just because she has a disabled son. It isn't fair to him because he didn't do anything to make him like that, so she shouldn't feel that taking care of him is a burden. Allthough he can't communicate like a normal, healthy child, she should still be treating him like one, and commiting suicide to get away from him is not fair. Just because she is a single mther to Matty doesn't mean that she cant get help with him. She shouldn't be acting like a victim because of the disability her child has.
