In the second part of the book I thought it was interesting that everyone decided to take Maureen on a vacation to get away from her disabled son and to be able to experience something new. I think that this is important because for Maureen I think it was like a changing point for her to go out and try something new and to be herself without having to care for her son. I also think that it is a good thing that they keep making new dates to meet like Valentines day or when they give it six more months because it seems to help everyone get through because they know that have some thing to look for
ward to in a way.
