Defending Jacob 1

In the beginning of Defending Jacob I felt as if it was really slow reading. When Jacob's dad Andy, who was also the prosecutor on the case of Ben Rifkins murder, was interviewing the students at Jacob's school to see if they knew anything about the murder. No one would tell him anything, they would pretend they didn't know anything. But when that girl emailed Andy and sent him the link to the Facebook page. The Facebook page Jacob's best friend Derek Yoo was saying stuff to Jacob like, i know you were the one who killed him. After Andy saw that he was in denial, he just didn't want to believe that his child would ever do something like that. No parents wants to hear that their child has murdered someone else or anything like that.
