Defending Jacob 1

This story kind of reminds me of My Sisters keeper. I'm getting the same drift because of the courtrooms and the lawyers and all of that. It also reminds me of My Sisters Keeper because this book is very depressing. When I read it it just really brings me down and depresses me. It's not a book that I enjoy and it's not a book that I even want to pick up. It's just very dreadful and gloomy and rains on my parade. I don't like Defending Jacob and I didn't really like My Sisters Keeper, which is another comparable element. The other books were more my speed.
