Defending Jacob 1

In the beginning of the book, I thought that Jacob couldn’t be the murderer, not only because he was 14 years old, but also because his father was the district attorney. Jacob knew the consequences for murder, and his father wouldn’t just be a bystander in the case, he would be the one directing where to point all the evidence. Leonard Patz seemed to be the right person to accuse, but as time passed, the evidence started to point to Jacob.
