Defending Jacob 2

I think that Andy knows Jacob is guilty but he doesn't want to believe it and he puts it out his mind because he doesn't want to think that his own son could quite possibly be a murderer. There is enough evidence to prove it. It couldn't have been a coincidence that Jacob was a suspect for both the murder of Ben and the girl. The counselor said that his emotional status was still at the level of a small child, so there's enough evidence to put it together. The father also used the other suspect for Ben's case like a crutch, because then there was a possibility that it wasn't Jacob that killed Ben.
