I think Laurie had one of the bggest character changes in the novel. In the beginning, she was described more as a person who stays strong through any situation and someoe who would be there for anyone else in atough situation. However, when she was the one in a tough sitution, she completely changed and became more like her husband and didn't open up her feelings to anyone else.
