Defending Jacob 3

The ending to Defending Jacob was surprising, sad and terrible. I was surprised when the Barber's went on vacation and Jacob got a girlfriend and a few days later she was missing. I was shocked and disturbed to read this because he killed another human being again. Then when his mother drove off the highway I was confused that she would do this to her only son. This was a very good book that kept you on the edge of your seat.
