Defending Jacob 1

The beginning of this book really has me wondering who killed Ben Rifkin. All the evidence pointed to Jacob. He had a knife in his drawer and he he had little blood droplets on his hands when he got to school. There was also one of Jacob's finger prints on the dead victims sweatshirt. The D.A. could not prove with their witnesses that Jacob committed the murder. The defense worked real hard to prove that Jacob might not be the killer. They had another suspect in mind who was a child molester who could have done the crime as well. It was very suspenseful to read about the court drama this family went through.
