I was able to relate to Patrick when he was twisting the radio dial back and fourth, not even listening to the actual people talking, because when I was younger, my grandfather had an old radio with the nob, and I couldn't really understand what the people on the radio where talking about, so I would twist it back and fourth, enjoying the static in between two stations, and hearing the mumble of someone talking and then the distant music in the back from another channel.
