The book is confusing at times because the author likes to leave the present, and then start talking about past events right in the middle of the present. At times it becomes confusing because he is at a certain place with people, then he is somewhere else with different people. It is like time just skipped ahead. Its also confusing because of the way they speak in Ireland, is different than in the United States.
