Paper Towns 1

Paper Towns starts off with a flashback of Margo and Quentin's childhood when they find the dead man in the park, the flashback explains what Quentin has always liked about Margo; she wanted to know what was next and was always two steps ahead. Then, the book goes on explaining how Margo and Quentin don't really talk since they're in high school now, Margo is popular and Quentin hangs out with the band geeks. Except as the school year goes on, Margo's boyfriend cheats on her with her best friend and that's when everything changes. The night that Margo found out, she knocked on Quentin's window and had him sneak out with her for the night. Quentin has obsessed over this girl his whole life, and now he finally get's the chance to spend a night with her there was no way he would turn down this oppertunity. I like John Green's writing because he makes it very easy to relate to. The way that he talks about relationships between Margo and Quentin or even Quentin and his friends, it is so realistic which is why I keep reading.
