Quentin and all his
friends skip their graduation because they knew that they only had a certain
amount of time to go to New York. They get to New York, and Margo is shocked
that they were able to find her because she didn’t intend on the clues leading
them to her. Quentin and Margo knew that this wouldn’t be the last time they
saw each other, but had to accept the fact that they weren’t going to be
together down in Florida. Margo wasn’t coming back and Quentin was leaving New
York without his best friend. I would have liked to known what happened to
Margo and Quentin in the future lives and if they ever saw each other again.
