Revolution #2

The author, Jennifer Donnely, has suddenly changed the time and place of the book when Andi goes to the beach gig with her friends. She put Andi in Alexandrine’s time period, the time of the French revolution, and it has put an interesting twist on the plot. The characters from Alex’s time period think that Andi is Alex, and Andi must fulfill Alex’s mission to keep the prince happy. Alex is able to entertain the prince while he is locked in the tower by continuing to set off fireworks for him and trying not to get caught. This twist in the novel really attracted my attention and made it more interesting to read.
