I saw Christopher change when he found out that his mother is still alive and that his dad killed Wellington. I could see that he changed because before he loved his dad very much and he knew that his dad loved him very much too. But when he found out that his dad lied about his mother and about Wellington he got very scared and doubted his fathers’ love for him. He also thought that his dad was dangerous and could hurt him. In the beginning of the book he knew that his dad would never do anything to hurt him and he trusted him, but by the time that he found out about his mother still being alive and his father killing Wellington that trust was broken.
