The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time #2

I have taken notice that Christopher's main focus has become the death of Wilmington, his next door neighbor's dog. He seems to have a better connection with animals than humans. For example Christopher has a pet rat, named Toby, that he takes with him where ever he goes and plays the role of his best friend. I predict that the rest of the book will consist of Christopher solving the mystery and him making the A level math program at his school.
