The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time 3

Christopher’s character definitely changed throughout the novel. He decided to go live with his mom, which meant that he would travel and be surrounded by strangers. Christopher didn’t like being around people he didn’t know, and it took a lot of courage for him to do so. Christopher somewhat overcame being autistic, and found a way to truly be himself without having an excuse. Throughout the novel, I would read certain things, and think to myself “he is autistic that’s why” when in reality there is no difference between him and everyone else in the world. The book was very interesting and allowed me to look at the world with open eyes.
