The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time 1

After Mrs. Shears blames Christopher for killing her dog, I predict that he will work towards finding out who really killed the dog. I think this because he stated that he really liked the dog, and that he never lies. I believe that Christopher will want to prove that he isn't lying, and he'll want the person who actually killed the dog to suffer some sort of consequence. I think that Christopher wanting to find the murderer will be the main focus of the rest of the book.
