The Girl Who Fell from the Sky 1

The book starts off a bit boring; all you know is that Rachel is the "new girl" in her grandma's town and that she gets picked on at school. But as you continue on, more connections are made between characters. You soon learn that Rachel's mother, brother and baby sister died but you don't know exactly how. Did someone push them off the building? Did they jump? Also, I wonder if Jamie (or Brick) will be important later in the story.
