The Girl Who Fell from the Sky 3

I like how throughout the whole book, you get to read different character's perspectives. For example, when Rachel is struggling with school and bullies, Brick is traveling from town to town on his way to Portland to find Rachel. When Brick and Rachel finally meet, I didn't want to put the book down. I was eager to find out how Brick would tell Rachel about her father and how Rachel would react when he did. I was surprised she was so calm when she found out about Charles and her dad. I wasn't surprised, however, that her mom was the one who killed the family. There were hints throughout the story that she did it and I could tell by her journal entries she was stressed and troubled.
