The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts

In this story, Kingston discovers that she once had an aunt named "No-Name Aunt," who killed herself and her newborn baby. This specific event reminds me of the book The Girl Who Fell From The Sky because Rachel's mother also killed herself and her youngest baby, along with Rachel's brother. In both novels, a mother kills herself and her children by jumping. In this story, the mother jumps into a well with her newborn child and they both die, and in The Girl Who Fell From The Sky, the mother jumped off of a building with her children and all of them died except for one.
