What i didnt get is why she cared so much that the girl was so quiet. Just let her be quiet on her own and do what she wants. In the last two pages she talks about these barbarians using reed as weapons and instruments. But the sound of its tune makes Ts'ai
yen feel disturbed and cold. The last thing she mentitions is this women is singing a song and these kids start to sing along with her.
