Ghosts of War #2

While I was reading the part of the book when the children beg the soldiers for food, I was wondering how I would react in that situation. If I was in that situation I would want to believe that I would help the children, but I do not think that I would be able to go against a command that was made. Many people would say that they would in fact help the children, but only some of the really would if placed in the situation.
