Hole in My Life Post 3

I was correct in predicting that the judge would look past Jack's age and still charge him for the crime he committed. He gets lucky however, and is able to get a job in the prison's hospital so he is not as exposed to the normal brutality of prison life. I was also correct in saying that Jack's writing would grow during his time. He began to write a journal in a book from the prison library that eventually got taken away from him when he was released. Jack always thought that he used to think his life wasn't interesting enough to write about. However, while in prison, he realizes that he had a very eventful life, but he took what he had for granted. It took prison sentence to make him aware of how lucky he was to have what he had, and to not be in jail for longer and when he was released he was ready to start making the correct life choices so he didn't end up in the same place again.
