The curious incident of the dog in the night-time

It was revealed as I was reading that, in fact, Christopher's father killed Wellington after him and Mrs.Shears had a fight. Also, after Christopher's father took his book away so Christopher went looking for it and found something out of the ordinary. Letters from his mother who was suppose to be dead. Turns out she left his father after cheating on him with Mr.Shears. She now lives in London with a guy named Roger. Christopher could not handle all of this information on what happened and found that it wasn't safe too live in his house anymore so he went out of his comfort zone to run away to find his mother in London. Unfortunately, once he made it on to the train the policeman stopped him and told him that his father was looking for him.
