A Long Way Down 1

I think the scene where JJ and Maureen take Chas down to talk to Jess, and then when Jess realizes she has changed because of this night on pages 80-86 will become a key part of the book. In this scene I think Jess really, realizes that her life is worth living and sub-consciously decides not to commit suicide. Her conversation with Chas made her realize that she was not living the right way. I think she will change and keep these new friends. I also think she will be more mature in her life after this night. She realized that life was more important than getting an explanation from an ex-boyfriend. The last thing that I think is that the reason behind this sudden change is these new friends. By being with them she found out what rock bottom really was and now she will try to stop them from jumping. If she succeeds she will keep friends for the first time ever
