A long way down 1

I was surprised when I heard that Martin spent a couple of months doing research on suicide. I always thought that when a person did feel like Martin had, that they would just do it, and not think about it or do any type of research. Right now in the book I believe that Martin is confused and does not know how to accept his decision on suicide. If he had accepted it from the start he wouldn't have done all of his research.
