a long way down 2

I'm glad to see that towards the end of the book Maureen became one of the happiest with her life and turned it around. She always focused on how bad her life was because of Matty and his disabilities. The only thing she could turn to was her church, but even with that she stopped going because of what happened on the rooftop. I'm happy to see that her life got turned around for the best because she finally got out and had a life getting a job and joining a club. She became happy with what she had rather than always being gloomy, and she also had her 3 new friends which she never had before. It was good that the author included that because it was good seeing someone going from so much struggle to finally living their life
