A Long Way Down 2

So far I think that the group has gotten better since the beginning of the book. I think they all deep down care for each other. If they didn't then they probably would have never helped Jess find her ex-boyfriend or brought Maureen on vacation. I dont understand why they would lie about seeing a angel. The only person that really needed the money from it would be JJ. Martin has the money from his show,  Jess's father is the head of education and should have enough money from that, and Maureen doesnt seem like she's in debt. JJ doesnt have alot of money  but because he chose to do music as a carreer. I feel that if they never met each other than they would have probably killed themselves. Although they do fight I  think the made a bond on the rooftop that can't be forgotten. If I was one of them I probably would feel grateful that they were there. Especially because there was anyone at all.
