a long way down 3

I was honestly dissapointed with the ending of the book, because I thought it was quite fictitious. Not only was the meeting at the basement of Starbucks just silly, and an overall disaster, but something like that would never actually happen! In my opinion, people are way too self centered to try and help each other with their problems, especially strangers. The fact that they give each other till March 31st to meet yet again at Toppers, is overall an okay idea, and I'm glad that they all found one another at the point in time that they did, because who knows, maybe one of them might have jumped. The ending makes you feel less sympathetic for the characters, and they start acting like normal people, and it makes you think that it was fate that they all met.
