I thought it was really interesting how the author wrapped up the end. I was not at all expecting Jess to find religion and a steady way of life; however, what I could predict was the complete failure of the intervention.
Everyone got angry and left, except for Maureen who didn't really have anyone there to get angry with. I think that the characters completely turned their depressed situations around, and I don't think that any one of them will return to the roof to jump.
