defending jacob3
after reading defending jacob, I feel like the beginning description of Laurie is a miss because she is nothing like that towards the end of the book. Andy describes her to be warm and outgoing, and have tons of friends and tight knit relationships within the community. Yet she totally withdraws from her parents, and every one of her friends abandons her, which that part seemed sort of fictitious to me because although her son was being accused of murder, if god forbid that were me in that case, I'm sure one or two people would stick by me, including my parents of course.
