Defending Jacob 1

Andy seems like a normal person when questioned by Mr. Logiudice in the beginning of the book. The author doesn't tell us why he is being questioned, or much else other than a child was murdered and he was investigating the case personally. He asks him why he was investigating, and he pointed out that the case is unusual because a child was killed. Andy also points out that he has been in court for a while, so they probably would to get anywhere that day.
