Ghosts of War 3

I saw Ryan grow as a person when he shares his story called "The Town That Achmed Built" with  the rest of his college class. Prior to this, he had been nervous to share his experiences with other people. He builds up the courage to finally do so, and is set free from the tough memories that accompany him. I believe that he realizes that by talking about Iraq, he can release the demons that followed him from his deployment. This is an enourmous step is someone's life who has been to war, and he is able to overcome it. By doing this, he is able to develop himself as a person, and enlighten others with his words. Speaking and writing about his experiences not only helps himself, but it helps others by giving them a sense of truely what it means to be an American. I thought this was an outstanding book and I highly recommend it to others.
