Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha 2
I saw a character change when Paddy found out that his parents were fighting and having more arguments than usual. After he saw his mother running to her room, he predicted that the fights had gotten physical. To stop his father from putting his hands on his mother again, he started paying more attention and being there more often so he wouldn't leave the two alone in the house. Paddy was no longer a child. His childhood was close to an end. He started to realize more about other people around him. He started to defend his little brother, instead of hating him, like he did when they were younger. An event like this usually is not good for a child to be part of, but in Paddy's case it is helping him grow up and act more like an adult.
