I see Quinton change in the very beginning of the book. He was always quiet and the one that took no risks but by the end of the night with Margo everything changes. For example, Quinton was afraid that he would get charged with breaking and entering and did not want to go through with any of Margo's plans but by the end of the night he had a great time breaking into sea world. Also, he would never stick up for himself when he got bullied by Chuck but then he got revenge, which is something he normally wouldn't do. He had a good time by the end of the night rather than worrying about every single thing
