I predict that after his time in prison Jack will not be involved with drugs and will work for his money and will continue with writing. I do not think he will be involved with drugs because you can get 4 years in prison for sailing a boat full of drugs. He ruined his life for a drug that only gives you a high. He learned that going for easy money only leads to trouble. Finally I think that he will continue with writing because it is his lifeline in prison and I think that he realizes that writing is where he wants to take his life not selling drugs
