I saw a character change when Quentin snuck out with Margo. Quentin changed because he did things he would have never done before. For example, he broke into Seaworld, got back at Chuck Parson for bullying him and took his moms van in the middle of the night to go on an adventure with Margo. Q also stood up to Jason Worthington when Jason squirted Freshman with water guns filled with pee, something Q would have never done before. Without Margo coming into his life all of the sudden Q would be the same person he was before, unadventurous and secretly crushing on Margo Roth Spiegelman.
