Paper Towns 3

During part three I thought that the most important part was when Quentin and Margo were saying there goodbyes and then Margo started to cry so he tryed to make her feel better by telling her he would write to her and that they would see eachother soon. He then thinks to himself that those simple things are what keeps them from falling apart, and that by imagining these futures we can make them real, and maybe not, but either way we must imagine them. This scene is important because something like this takes place in the story A Long Way Down. Maureen tries to make Jess's mom feel better by telling her that Jen may have came back to get her earings and hence making it much more believable that she isn't dead. In both stories there is a reaccuring theme that sometimes the only thing that can keep a person from breaking, is imagining that everything will be okay in the end, and will turn out for the better.
