Paper Towns Post 1

This books starts with a history of Quentin and Margo's friendship. At the age of nine, Margo and Quentin find a dead man leaning up against a tree in the park in the neighborhood. Quentin is scared and wants to go home to tell their parents immediately, but Margo seems to be transfixed by the man. Eventually they do go home and as the years go by, the pair grows apart. Margo becomes very popular and adventurous while Quentin hangs out with the "band geek" group. One night, a week before senior prom, Margo shows up in Quentin's window asking him to be her assistant in the next of her adventures which involves getting revenge on all of the people that have betrayed her lately. After this night, Quentin begins to fall even more in love with her and hopes things will  be different between them. I predict that after this night, they will become as close as they were again because Margo has been betrayed by all of her friends and she has come to realize that she values Quentin's friendship.
