I agree with what Margo said about growing up and life. She felt that all of life was just planning and preparing for a future of planning and preparing. "You go to high school so you can go to college so you can get a good job so you can get a nice house so you can afford to send your kids to college so they can get a good job so they can get a nice house so they can afford to send their kids to college," she had explained to Quentin. I had never noticed how much time is spent preparing for other parts of life, but that brought it to my attention. Margo's opinion on this is a very important aspect of the story because it will affect her decisions later on in the book. She says she hates this strange routine of planning, so when she leaves, it must be to get away from the routines.
