I was surprised when Lili calls Andi a ghost and asks her to
return to them when she first arrives at the house in France. Before this
point, no other characters really stated what had happened to Andi so blatantly
and outright. All other characters seem to ignore the topic, only speaking
about it in relation to their own problems, like the way Andi’s father does.
The idea of Andi fading away like a ghost was very interesting as well, because
that would mean other characters see her as less than a person now.
