Defending Jacob #2
Continuing where I left off, the middle of the book explained the connection between the child and Jacob, the son of the D.A. It explained how a friend of Jacob, Derek Yoo, posted on Facebook that Jacob had possession of a knife, patterned like the one used in the murder. This made the story even more interesting and gave it an eerie feeling. Jacob was sent to court to testify about the death of the child. The lawyer in defense of the dead child was Neal Loguidice, someone who was trained by Jacob's father. This also made me curious as to how the case would play out. It seemed like Jacob was the one who killed Ben Rifkin, the murdered child. This made life hell for the family of Jacob. It gave the story a twist, by adding the life of the family into the story, it showed how they stuck together, but at times were doubtful that Jacob was not guilty. The case was carried on, and the story progressed. The story, at this point, was very exciting and detailed, making it a great book.
